Privacy and fair use
Viewmingo gives designers simple, anonymous stats about their portfolio. It is built so no one can follow an individual visitor.
What is counted
- That a visit happened, which projects were in view, and for roughly how long.
- Clicks on contact and external links.
- Whether the browser has visited this portfolio before (a yes/no flag, not an ID).
What is never collected
- Names, emails, IP addresses, precise location or device fingerprints.
- Mouse movements, typing, or activity on other websites.
- Any ID that links one visit to another.
Raw visit data is deleted after 30 days; only daily totals remain. Designers only ever see totals and averages.
How to opt out
Choose Don’t count me on the notice shown on a portfolio, or turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. Either stops counting immediately.
Fair use for designers
By creating an account, designers agree not to use Viewmingo to identify, track or pressure individual viewers, and not to try to combine its numbers with other data to do so. Accounts that break this are removed.
